Supply and demand. Dubai Shopping Festival in January brings massive tourist numbers which drives demand for companion services. Premium companions book out days in advance. Some companions increase their rates by 10 to 20 percent during peak events. The same applies to New Year, Dubai World Cup, and other major events. If you are visiting during these periods, book one to two weeks ahead and expect to pay slightly more. The quality of companions available during peak season is the highest of the year because seasonal companions arrive specifically for these periods.
